Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for the repair, adjustment, and preventative maintenance of the equipment located in the Sewing Department

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair sewing equipment located within the facility
• Perform all work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures and requirements
• Work closely with management in the Sewing Department to contribute to overall goals and objectives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Essential skills and experience:

Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide array of manufacturing machinery to include automatic sewing machines, single/double needle straight stitch sewing machines, zig-zag machines, tackers, large capacity slitting/converting machines, and spreader/cutting machines.

• Experience with electrical systems, pneumatics, and PLCs.
• Ability to keep accurate written records
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team

Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 6:00 am- 2:30 pm (Saturdays as required during busy season)
• Job Type: Full-time
• Expected hours: 40 per week
