Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for batching in rolls of printed goods to be processed for sewing

Responsibilities:

• Load and start steamer as flags become available
• Batch flags into finishing range for processing
• Must learn to operate both exit and entrance end of finishing range
• Dispose of used paper and process through bailer
• Must maintain a neat and uncluttered workspace
• Must be able to sew strong straight seams and obtain a tow truck license
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be able to work with partner or independently as circumstances arise
• Must be able to perform two step math problems and have legible handwriting
• Must be willing to cross train on assignments other than the finishing range
• Required to stand; walk
• Full manual dexterity to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
• Reach with hands and arms
• Climb stairs; balance
• Stoop; kneel
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs, demonstrate the ability to batch racked flags
• Specific vision abilities required – close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time; dust; heat; cold; odors; humidity

Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm (Saturdays as required during busy season)
• Job Type: Full-time
• Expected hours: 40 per week
