Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for the safe operation of sewing machines to produce a high-quality product while ensuring that productivity goals are met

Responsibilities:

• Operate sewing machine to perform a variety of sewing related tasks including side hem, fly hem, long join, field join, header, grommet, labeling and proper folding of the flag
• Maintain accurate production records
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Prefer, but not required, 3-months’ experience in an industrial setting
• Ability to read and apply standard measures of a ruler or tape measure to 1/16

Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (Saturdays as required during busy season)
• Job Type: Full-time
• Expected hours: 40 per week

Salary/Rate Range:

• $15.80 plus incentives once fully trained
