Position Summary:

Primarily responsible for the safe operation of sewing machines to produce a high-quality product while ensuring that productivity goals are met

Responsibilities:

• Operate sewing machine to perform a variety of sewing related tasks including side hem, fly hem, long join, field join, header, grommet, labeling and proper folding of the flag
• Maintain accurate production records
• Keep work area clean and free from debris, trash and clutter.
• Work in a safe manner, following all safety procedures and requirements.
• Provide timely feedback on issues that affect safety, quality or productivity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Job Requirements:

• Assisted Pushing/Pulling/Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent Hand Grasping
• Constant Standing & Repetitive Motion type position
• Safety Glasses or glasses in general must be worn while operating equipment

Hours:

• Monday-Friday: 1st:  6:00 am – 2:30 pm or 2nd: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm (Saturdays as required during busy season)
• Job Type: Full-time (Through Legacy Temp Agency while in Training 6–8 weeks)
• Expected hours: 40 per week

Salary/Rate Range:

• $13.45 per hour while Temp/ Rates increase if transitioned (Paid weekly)

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Saturdays as needed (busy season only)

Shift Availability:

• 1st or 2nd
