New Hampshire

The New Hampshire state flag consists of the state seal on a blue field. The state seal contains the Revolutionary warship Raleigh, flying a historically accurate thirteen-star U.S. flag in front of a brilliant yellow rising sun. The ship is on land in stocks, at the shipping building yard at Portsmouth. The year “1776,” appears below the Raleigh because it’s the year of the state’s independence, and alternating stars and laurel leaf sprigs encircle the seal.
